The invitation as a theatre programme. Guests see a printed programme on a velvet seat under a spotlight; tap it and the cover swings open on its spine. The cover is the title page: "presents", your names set big in condensed capitals, your line as the show's subtitle, your photo as the production still and the date on a ticket strip. Every section is numbered as a scene, the programme reads like a running order, the entourage like a cast list, guests reply on a ticket with a tear-off stub, and the close is the curtain call. For weddings with a flair for drama, milestone birthdays and company galas. Opening Night, Matinee or Noir.
